Weekend Chef – Lingfield Lodge
Saturday & Sunday, 8am – 4pm
£16.58 per hour
Based at: East Grinstead / West Sussex
The Role:
As Weekend Chef you will be responsible for providing a high-quality catering service that will enhance the everyday life of our residents. You will be passionate about ensuring that all food served to our residents not only looks and tastes delicious, but also reflects the needs of the individual’s medical, dietary and cultural requirements. Care must be taken to ensure allergens are correctly identified.
Key Skills and Experience:
You must have excellent cooking skills and proven experience of leading and managing a small team, ideally within a commercial catering environment. You will have a hands-on approach to providing an outstanding catering service including kitchen hygiene, stock and budget control, staff rotas/cover needs, training and development and performance management.
You will have a professional cookery qualification and be qualified to CIEH Level 2 in Food Safety certificate (or equivalent) and have or be willing to work towards your CIEH Level 3 Food Safety for Supervisors (Catering) certificate. You will be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.
