Housing Apprentice – 18 months fixed term contract – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with Eldon Housing Association. We are looking for a Housing Apprentice to work with us for an 18-month period.
This is a varied and exciting role, where you will be studying for your Level 2 Diploma in Housing and Property Management whilst you work with the Housing and Care Team
Key areas of the role are:
- To undertake an apprenticeship in housing management within a social housing setting.
- To undertake Level 2 Diploma in Housing and Property Management.
- To gain knowledge and skills through supporting the Senior Housing Officer with:
- providing a highly responsive and professional housing management service to all the Association’s tenants
- ensuring effective income maximisation through good management of voids, lettings and arrears management.
You will be joining Eldon Housing at an exciting time in its development and transformation.

The ideal person for this role will be willing to undertake Level 2 Diploma in Housing and Property Management and be interested in developing a career in social housing. The postholder will need good literacy and numeracy skills, be IT literate, have the ability to deal sensitively with tenants and maintain confidentiality at all times, as well as work flexibly and will be open and honest when working with colleagues.
The starting salary for this apprentice role is £19,000 p.a., rising to £20,000 p.a. on completion of set learning goals.
