Caretaker / Handyperson
SALARY: £26,757 per annum
HOURS: Mon – Fri 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. (35 hours per week)
We are looking to recruit a Caretaker / Handyperson with proven experience in property maintenance for our Care Homes in the Croydon area – for a fixed term period of 2 to 3 months, and therefore ideally available immediately, who lives in the Croydon area with access to their own transport.
The Role:
Key responsibilities include general maintenance e.g. attending to plumbing leaks, unblocking drains, repairing furniture, replacing light bulbs, touching up paint work and clearing gutters. Duties will also include routine health and safety checks, including fire point testing and emergency light testing, flooring maintenance, using floor cleaning equipment.
Skills and Experience Required:
The perfect candidate would ideally possess a combination of technical skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable them to perform their duties effectively and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
