Weekend Cleaner / Laundry Assistant – Sat & Sun 9am – 2pm

DESCRIPTION:
Eldon Housing Association are seeking to recruit a Weekend Cleaner / Laundry Assistant to join our passionate caring and professional team based at our extra housing scheme, Lingfield Lodge in East Grinstead. Lingfield Lodge comprises of 49 units and aims to provide high quality, secure and accessible housing for older people with care needs, disabilities, or limited mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
As Cleaner / Laundry Assistant you will clean the communal and residential areas as well as doing the laundry for the tenants and on occasion provide support to the kitchen, for example the laying and cleaning of tables. You will also be required to safely move light furniture, chairs, wheeled beds to facilitate cleaning.
Key Skills and Experience:
You must have cleaning experience ideally within a commercial environment and a meticulous and methodical approach to work.
All applicants must have a caring and sensitive personality and ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy to caring for older people.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
