We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Weekend Carer who is Passionate, Professional and Caring to be part of our team.
As a Weekend Carer you will be passionate about providing the very best care to our residents at our Extra Care Sheltered housing scheme in Croydon. You will be carrying out the daily care duties including; assisting the tenants with personal care, providing physical and mental stimulation and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
As someone who is truly caring you will make sure that all the tenants’ general wellbeing and independence is at the heart of everything you do, giving them choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
Key Skills and Experience
You will have at least NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with excellent communication skills. Above all you will be passionate and caring with a professional attitude to work and a genuine belief in providing the best possible care to our tenants.

Premises Officer

Premises Officer Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Premises Officer who is Passionate, Professional and Caring to be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Premises Officer you will be required to carry out; a daily cleaning schedule, minor repairs such as changing a light bulb, basic plumbing and carpentry repairs, routine compliance checks as well as ensuring the grounds and refuse areas are clean and tidy. You will have daily contact with sub contractors, ensuring good health and safety practices are being carried out.
Key Skills and Experience
You will have proven similar experience, although it is not essential for this to be within a care home environment. You must have a hands-on approach with a keen attention to detail and be able to work in a methodical and organised manner, whilst also being able to respond effectively to change or emergencies.

Domestic Assistant Job Description
Key Responsibilities
To maintain, under general supervision of the Head Domestic, a high quality and efficient cleaning service and high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the scheme in accordance with laid down procedures and contract agreements.
You will work as part of an experienced and committed facilities management team, based at one of our Croydon based schemes where you will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning and laundry service, often within tight timeframes
Key Skills and Experience
You will have a meticulous and methodical approach to your work, ensuring that standards of cleanliness are maintained at the required level whilst also upholding health and safety.
We are not necessarily looking for qualifications, although sound experience in providing domestic services in a similar environment would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
You will work as part of an experienced and committed catering team, based in one of Croydon Councils residential care homes. You will be responsible for maintaining under general supervision of the Head Cook high standards of cleaning and hygiene in the kitchen, always ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation and basic food hygiene. In liaison with the Head Cook you will carry out the preparation and straight forward cooking and service of food.
Key Skills and Experience
You will have catering experience in a commercial kitchen and be qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food Certificate (or equivalent). You will be able to follow instruction and be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.

Cook

Key Responsibilities
The role of Cook is to work as part of an experienced and committed catering team at one of our Croydon Council residential care homes. As Cook, in liaison with the Chef you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a high-quality catering service that will enhance the everyday life of our residents. You will be highly skilled in all aspects of cooking, food preparation and kitchen hygiene as well as assisting the Chef in menu planning, budgeting and supervising staff.
Key Skills and Experience
You will have a professional cookery qualification and be qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent). You will have proven catering experience in a commercial kitchen and ideally have worked within a supervisory role. You will be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.

Key Responsibilities
As Weekend Chef you will be responsible for providing a high quality catering service that will enhance the everyday life of our residents. you will be passionate about ensuring that all food served to our residents not only looks and tastes delicioius, but also reflects the needs of the individual’s medical and cultural requirements.
Key Skills and Experience
You must have excellent cookery skills with proven experience of leading and managing a small team, ideally within a commercial catering environment. You will be someone who has a hands on approach to providing an outstanding catering service including kitchen hygiene, stock and budget control, staff rota’s training and development and performance management.
You will have a professional cookery qualification and be qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent) and have or be willing to work towards your CIEH Level 3 Food Safety for Supervisors (Catering) certificate. You will be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.
